At MotoMeteo, we respect your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your data.

Data Collection

We process device identifiers for security and abuse prevention, including detecting and blocking misuse of our APIs. No personal data is linked to this identifier.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

The app may send a small, fixed set of product events, such as planning, route export, subscription-screen, purchase, and restore outcomes, to help us improve reliability and usability. These events contain no account, installation, or device identifiers, coordinates, route data, or free-form text. A stored privacy decline is always honored.

Anonymous performance information

MotoMeteo receives app startup and update-download timings, together with operating-system and app-version information, to help improve reliability. These measurements are sent through Cloudflare to our own monitoring system. These measurements exclude device, installation, session and account identifiers, routes, coordinates and error logs. They follow the same privacy choice as anonymous usage analytics; a saved decline is always respected.

Location Data

We use your location to provide weather forecasts along your itinerary. This data is processed on-the-fly to calculate riding conditions and is not stored permanently on our servers.

Third Party Services

We use external weather and routing providers to calculate your trip data. These providers receive coordinates but no personal identifiers.

Website checklist progress

Each website checklist stores checked item IDs in your browser’s local storage. These ticks are not sent to MotoMeteo or synced between devices. Reset the checklist or clear this website’s stored data to remove them.
